There are several cemeteries in Brighton & Hove.

 

Bear Road Cemetery situated in Bear Road Brighton. Burials can only take place in this cemetery if you already own a pre-purchased grave, or if you own a grave and there is room for additional burials.

 

Lawn Memorial Cemetery situated in Warren Road, Woodingdean, Brighton. This cemetery also has a Woodland Natural Burial Ground.

 

Hove Cemetery situated in Old Shoreham Road, Hove.  New burials are reserved to one section only.

 

Portslade Cemetery situated in Victoria Road, Portslade.  Burials can only take place in this cemetery if you already own a pre- purchased grave, or if you own a grave and there is room for additional burials.

 

Brighton & Preston Cemetery situated in Hartington Road, Brighton.

 

Clayton Wood Natural Burial Ground - Situated in Brighton Road, Clayton, Clayton Wood is a beautifully tranquil natural burial ground, set within the rolling hills of the South Downs National Park, set in 15 acres of countryside.  Opened in 2008 it sits below the Jack and Jill Windmills, the beautiful woodland burial site at Clayton Wood has various dedicated areas for full natural burial and cremated remains, as well as memorial scattering lawns, surrounded by native trees.

Mill Lane Cemetery situated in Mill Lane, Shoreham By Sea.

 

Southwick Cemetery situated in Downsway, Southwick

Please note that all of the cemeteries listed have their own rules and regulations, some cemeteries will offer both Lawn Graves and Traditional Graves whilst others will only offer one type of memorial.

 

Some Cemeteries will charge double or treble if you live outside the area.
